Employment Search Engines

A very large percent of people at some point or the other in their lives are caught up in the whirlwind of looking for employment. The internet in this case is nothing short of a boon.

It beats commuting to offices to drop of resume and meeting with headhunters who may be taking you for a ride. The internet is an extremely powerful tool which can be used by anyone for their purpose and more importantly, you don't have to pay anything.
There are many search engines for the purpose of creating a platform where job seekers and employers can interact freely. Yahoo Hot Jobs is an excellent example of this.
It is a comprehensive search engine with all the conventional controls that a job search requires. You can search through it for opportunities by either job type, company name, experience and a ton of other variations individually or all at once.
Another very good search engine would be Monster.com.
Everybody loves free stuff and Monster Jobs is absolutely free for job seekers. Again, with the regular features of a search engine you can search with any keyword.
You can look for vacancies company wise, look for jobs which require specific skills or work experience and also search with different combinations.
At the end of the day, no matter what search engine you are going through, the work needs to get done. Being unemployed is certainly not fun. You have to allocate a certain amount of your time each day to perform an effective employment search. Getting the technique right is paramount otherwise you may end up with no job or even worse, a terrible job.
